I'm Home

It didn't take long to find my forever home and I'm so thankful to everyone that helped me get here. I will never be able to tell you how much it means to me, but I can show you how happy I am for the first time in a very long time. I think you will agreee, that I am HOME!

All Settled In My Foster Home

His foster home reports "He is doing great. He is a people person dog. He is fine with other dogs, but really wants to be with his person. They feel he would be ok as an only dog with someone who was home. He needs a lot of face time, not a dog who would be so great crated all day. He tends to be dominant, not in a mean way, but is assertive. Very well mannered dog, knows sit and down and comes when called. Will go into his crate willingly but prefers to sleep on the bed which he did last night. He would be a good family dog, is good with kids and likes a lot of interaction."

This lady came and got me from the shelter. I don't know if she is just walking me and taking me back in or not, but I sure hope we just keep on going, far, far away from this place.

The last time I was in a vehicle, it wasn't a pleasant drive. This time I actually get to look out the window.

Hey! you think we could stop and run in the field? It looks like it could be fun.

You talk'n to me? Yea, I think she's pretty and sweet.

Oh Boy! We're here? I don't know where here is, but it looks better than the last time the back door was opened for me to get out.

I see a lot of doggy prints in the snow, must mean I get to play with someone. Come on, Let's go find them.

Wow! a puppy. I like to play and their 10 month old setter puppy Kirby and I were having a grand time!!

His guardian angel that took him out of the shelter and delivered him to his foster home had this to say.

"Rugby was a wiggly little bundle when he first got out of the shelter, but calmed down quickly in the car and was content to sit on Ali's lap. VERY good dog. Knows basic commands sit and down. Very dog friendly and very much a cuddler, but not in a needy way.

All in all, from the few hours I spent with him, he is a dreamboat dog. I know that vet said he was 2-3, but I want a second opinion from my vet. He has hardly any feathering on his tail and he acts like a pup. He seems he was at one time loved by someone. He doesn't have the issues I saw from mine when they came in.

But its early days but man, I really liked this dog!!!"
